October is Rotary Economic and Community Development Month

Rotary is advocating Economic and Community Development in the month of October.  Focus will be on the following:

• Sustainable Growth: Building long-term economic improvements rather than providing immediate charity.

• Empowerment: Supporting local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and marginalized groups with vocational training and resources.

• Key Dates: The month also highlights the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17 and World Polio Day on October 24.
