John J. Hillebrand passed away on June 8. John was an extraordinary member and a special person. He was responsible for many of our international projects in the 90’s including a farming project in Buenos Aires, providing computers to Romania schools, providing assistance to disabled orphans in Romania. He was also an accomplished pianist and entertained club members, as well as playing for seniors in nursing homes throughout the North Shore. Even when his health was failing, John managed to attend most Rotary meetings.
