District Governor Rick Reigner was the guest speaker at our September 23 Noon meeting. DG Reigner gave us an inspirational and thoughtful presentation. He challenged us to consider the following five approaches to attracting members to Rotary: 1. Rotary is a membership organization that does great service. People join experiences and not clubs; 2. Tell your personal Rotary story and why you are a member; 3. Encourage grant recipients to explain the impact of our support for their work and publicize it; 4. Use social media to get on the platforms that are viewed by your target audience for membership; and 5. Wear Rotary swag to inspire conversation. DG Reigner also presented club member Steve Jambor with his 7th Paul Harris Fellow! Congratulations Steve!
DG Reigner also recognized Debora Morris with a Gratitude Award, which is given to the club member identified by other club members as someone who is dedicated to keeping the club running smoothly.
