World Bicycle Relief partners with communities to deliver specially designed, locally assembled, rugged bicycles for people in need. We’ve developed an efficient, innovative, and scalable model to empower communities of students, health workers, and entrepreneurs in rural regions with life-changing mobility.

Tricia Mullin is the new Executive Director of Melas on Wheels Northeast Illinois.  She will update us on the services they now provide and the volunteer opportunities available.

Don Crost is a ShelterBox Ambassador Team Member for District 6440. Shelterbox celebrates its 25th anniversary. in April.  For a long time, ShelterBox only shipped out aid items inside their iconic green Shelterboxes. However, as they have evolved,  aid is now tailored to better meet the different needs of each community impacted by a disaster.  As a result, they’ve gone beyond the box – and no longer use it   Don will tell us the reasons why they no longer use it: 

International Sevice Committee Chair and members of his committee will give us an update on the many projects our club is funding and collaborating on with other clubs.
